According to details, nearly 2,500 police officials of 13 districts, 125 teams of the Punjab Elite Force including volunteers will discharge their duties during the playoffs. Moreover, 10 pairs of the elite force for sniper checking will also remain on special duty during the PSL-4.
During the event, five SPs of various districts will also perform their duties under the command of the Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore to ensure smooth flow of traffic besides facilitating citizens to continue their day-to-day affairs without any disturbance. Around 10 DSPs will be responsible for managing parking points and at the routes of the cavalcades.
Likewise, 30 senior traffic wardens and 400 trained traffic officials will remain at the disposal of the CTO during the matches. For the verification of accreditation, I.D Cards and other credentials, the IG has issued three Smart Verification and Alter System (SVAS) for the purpose to Punjab police's Special Branch, Lahore.
